Truck Accessories - Problem Solvers

Truck Accessories - Problem Solvers

At some point or another all owners experience a problem with their truck. Some are minor and some are major, all require specific truck accessories to sort them out. The problems can be divided into 3 main categories: problems with the paintwork, problems with the tyres and problems with the upholstery.

Problems with the upholstery

No matter how hard you try every day use means that you are likely to get stains on your seats or carpets at some time. Unfortunately some stains prove almost impossible to remove because the fabric has actually been dyed. Fruit juice and coffee are common culprits of dying. The best solution is to buy a specialist stain remover made specifically to remove your particular type of stain. A remover to take away grease will have completely different ingredients to one to remove coffee. Luckily, for every stain there is a matching stain remover. You can even get them for particularly difficult problems, such as chewing gum. The main thing to remember is to try and apply the liquid to the stain as quickly as possible as this will allow for the best results.

Problems with the tyres and wheels

The biggest issue with your wheels will be brake dust. It collects in every nook and cranny, sticks like tar and is highly corrosive to your wheels (as well as detracting from the look of your vehicle). And the most annoying thing of all, every time you clean it off it comes back! For help with this problem you need to search for some very specific truck accessories. Firstly you will need tyre brushes which have been shaped with wheel cleaning in mind. This will help you to reach all those hard to clean crevices. Then you will need a special wheel cleaner which contains ingredients to help remove that stubborn brake dust. Finally apply some wheel wax which, though it can't stop the dust from collecting completely, can help to slow down the process.

Problems with the paintwork

All paintwork eventually ends up with small scratches or swirls caused by contact with car washes, or brushes that contain small particles of dirt. They generally show up on nice sunny days, just when you want your truck to look its best! Buy a good quality polish and a new, never been used, buffer (this way you can be sure that there are no dirt particles in it). The polish contains micro-sized abrasives that will bring the shine back to the paintwork before you apply a layer of protective wax to seal the paint for several months to come.

By keeping a store of the truck accessories needed to solve these problems you can ensure that your truck is always in top condition.
